« When the Image Is New, the World Is New »* is the new collective exhibit at Marfa’ gallery featuring a fantastic lineup of artists: Stéphanie Saadé, Tamara Al-Samerraei, Caline Aoun, Vartan Avakian, Lamia Joreige, Saba Innab, Talar Aghbashian, Paola Yacoub, Ahmad Ghossein, Raed Yassin & Rania Stephan.
The exhibit includes the brilliant work of Ahmad Ghossein (picture here below) as he questions the system of land ownership in South Lebanon where there are no official cadastral surveys or records. Also on view earlier work by renowned Lebanese artist Lamia Joreige, dating back to 1999. And Saba Innab’s work on paper influenced by her architectural and urban planner background.
Don’t miss the striking and thought provoking works on display until April 30th 2020.
