This Friday, it’s la Nuit des Musées, 3rd edition. 11 museums across the country are opening their doors until 11pm for free. Time to explore Lebanon’s cultural heritage from it’s rich archeological past to the mind blowing mineral collection of the MIM, from the history of the Lebanese currency to the beautiful contemporary art collection of the Sursock Museum (where there will be ongoing live music performances, curated by Charbel Haber). From Pepe Abed’s impressive private collection to the beautiful ethnographic exhibition of Balamand University and the engaging Armenian Genocide Orphans’ Museum.

Shuttle buses are available for Beirut (departure every 30 mns starting at 5pm):
Bus 1 stops: National Museum of Beirut, MIM, Museum of Lebanese Prehistory at USJ, Villa Audi, Sursock Museum.
Bus 2 stops: National Museum of Beirut, Banque du Liban Museum, AUB Archeological Museum.
