In the past month the Lebanese people came together
with one goal in mind, to start creating change and inspiring
those around them to do the same. They volunteered to collect
garbage and sort it, they planted trees, started composting,
donated clothes, offered food and counseling, they created
free speech areas, started discussions and involved everyone
around them in a dialogue that focused on the change they
all wished to see.
Our fellow Lebanese have shown a great deal of solidarity,
compassion, creativity and determination. They showed the
world that they are capable of joining forces to create
a better tomorrow.
We are proud of all the achievements.
We believe in this country more than ever.
We have hope in Lebanon, and most importantly
we believe in our people.
